How do I create a new habit?

To create a new habit:

  1. Tap the "+" button on the main screen
  2. Enter a name for your habit
  3. Optionally set a streak goal
  4. Tap "Create" to save your habit

How do I mark a habit as complete?

Simply tap the checkmark button next to any habit to mark it as complete for today. You'll feel a haptic feedback confirming your action. Tap again to uncheck if needed.

What are streak goals?

Streak goals are optional targets you can set for each habit. They help you stay motivated by giving you a specific number of consecutive days to aim for. Once you reach your goal, you'll unlock special achievements!

Streaks & Progress

How are streaks calculated?

Your streak counts consecutive days where you've completed a habit. If you complete a habit today, your streak includes today. If you haven't completed it today but did yesterday, your streak continues. Missing a day breaks your streak.

Can I restore a broken streak?

Yes! Streak Storm includes a streak restore feature available as an in-app purchase. This allows you to restore a broken streak once per habit, perfect for those times when life gets in the way of your goals.

What happens if I miss a day?

If you don't complete a habit for a full day (and the previous day), your streak will reset to zero. However, you can continue building your habit from that point forward, or use the streak restore feature if available.

Achievements

How do I unlock achievements?

Achievements are automatically unlocked as you reach specific milestones:

  • First Steps: Complete your first habit
  • Getting Started: Reach a 3-day streak
  • One Week Strong: Reach a 7-day streak
  • Committed: Reach a 30-day streak
  • Unstoppable: Reach a 100-day streak
  • Goal Crusher: Complete a streak goal

Can I see all available achievements?

Yes! Tap the achievements icon (trophy) on the main screen to view all achievements. You'll see which ones you've unlocked and what you need to do to unlock the remaining ones.

iCloud Sync

How does iCloud sync work?

Streak Storm automatically syncs your habits, streaks, and achievements across all your Apple devices using iCloud. Make sure you're signed in to iCloud on all devices and have iCloud Drive enabled.

Why aren't my habits syncing?

If your habits aren't syncing, try these steps:

  1. Make sure you're signed in to iCloud on all devices
  2. Check that iCloud Drive is enabled in Settings
  3. Ensure you have an internet connection
  4. Give it a few minutes - sync can take time
  5. Try force-quitting and reopening the app

Can I disable iCloud sync?

iCloud sync is built into Streak Storm to provide the best experience across devices. If you prefer not to use it, you can disable iCloud Drive for Streak Storm in your device's Settings app under your Apple ID.

Data & Privacy

Is my data safe?

Absolutely! All your habit data is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account. We never have access to your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Can I export my data?

Currently, Streak Storm stores all your data in your iCloud account, which is accessible only to you. We're considering adding export features in future updates.

What happens if I delete the app?

Your data stored in iCloud will remain safe. When you reinstall Streak Storm and sign in with the same Apple ID, your habits will sync back automatically.

Troubleshooting

The app is crashing or freezing

If you're experiencing crashes or freezing:

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of Streak Storm installed
  2. Restart your device
  3. Make sure you're running iOS 17.0 or later
  4. If the problem persists, contact us at help@streakstorm.store

Haptic feedback isn't working

Check that haptic feedback is enabled in your device's Settings under Sounds & Haptics. Note that haptic feedback is only available on devices with a Taptic Engine (iPhone 6s and later).

In-App Purchases

What can I purchase in the app?

Streak Storm offers streak restore as an in-app purchase. This allows you to restore a broken streak once per habit, giving you a second chance to keep your momentum going.

How do I restore a purchase?

If you've previously purchased streak restore on another device or after reinstalling the app, your purchase should automatically restore. If not, tap "Restore Purchases" in the purchase sheet.

I made a purchase but didn't receive it

First, try tapping "Restore Purchases" in the app. If that doesn't work, contact Apple Support directly as they handle all App Store transactions and refunds.
